Alignment by Existing PointsAlignment by Existing Points

Availability: Computations module. (Not available in LISCAD Lite)
Menu Selection: From the Computations task, select the Create/Alignment command and the Method/Existing Points command.
Functionality: Creates a new alignment by existing points by using the mouse or keyboard.
The alignment to be created will be given the currently defined alignment attributes, and associated lines created will be given the currently defined line attributes.

Actions:
  • The OK Button adds the point(s) displayed in Point(s) field to the alignment currently being created. Alternatively, you may snap to and accept existing points to include them in the alignment.
  • The End Button ends the creation of the current alignment and allows a new alignment to be started.
