Create Point By Line and Offset PointPoint by Line and Offset Point

Availability: Computations module. (Not available in LISCAD Lite)
Menu Selection: From the Computations task, select the Create/Point command and the Method/Line & Offset Point command.
Functionality: Creates a new point along a selected line at an angle of ninety degrees to a nominated offset point.

Actions:
  • The OK Button creates the current point.
  • The new point identifier may also be determined by using the Next or Last buttons.
Notes:
  • The Elevation Control will only be available if the elevation attribute is active.
  • The new point created will be given the attributes of the currently defined point attribute.
